Digital calibration for the equipment SAP and LIMS leave behind.
EKalib gives Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams a system-controlled, audit-ready way to manage calibration of non-laboratory equipment — replacing spreadsheets and paper, without a heavy, custom SAP PM build.
A calibration system built for inspection day.

When LIMS retires and SAP can't cover it, calibration falls back to spreadsheets.
Many sites run non-lab equipment calibration in a legacy LIMS for master data and in Excel or on paper for execution. When the legacy LIMS is decommissioned — and the replacement LIMS explicitly excludes non-lab equipment — that calibration has nowhere to live. SAP PM can absorb it, but a full end-to-end build is expensive, slow, and risky to stand up during a go-live.
The fallback is manual: spreadsheets and paper forms. That means weak data integrity, reconciliation effort, and audit exposure on a process that has to be inspection-ready.
EKalib closes that gap — a purpose-built calibration workflow that stands on its own and sits comfortably alongside SAP.
Master data in, calibration under control, evidence out.
- 1
Register your equipment
Technical objects, locations, responsible groups, and criticality in one place.
- 2
Define calibration plans
Method, interval, and tolerances per asset — with the next-due date calculated automatically.
- 3
Execute with guidance
Technicians record as-found and as-left values; results are evaluated pass/fail against tolerance, so nothing is left to interpretation.
- 4
Capture the evidence
Generate calibration certificates and attach supporting documents.
- 5
Track status
Every asset shows compliant, due soon, or overdue — at a glance.
- 6
Prove it
An append-only audit trail records who did what, and when — built for inspection readiness.
Everything you need to run non-lab calibration digitally.
Equipment register
Technical objects, locations, responsibilities, and criticality.
Plans & auto-scheduling
Intervals, tolerances, and automatic next-due dates.
Guided execution
As-found / as-left capture with pass/fail against tolerance.
Certificates & evidence
Generate and store calibration records and attachments.
Due-date & compliance tracking
Compliant / due-soon / overdue status across the fleet.
Audit trail by design
Append-only change log supporting data integrity and traceability.
Sits alongside SAP
Keep equipment master data in SAP; run calibration in EKalib, with optional reference or reporting back.
One workflow, three teams.
Engineering & Maintenance
Execute calibrations with structure instead of spreadsheets.
Quality & Compliance
Review records and walk into an inspection with a clean, traceable history.
SAP & IT leaders
Digitalize calibration without over-customizing SAP PM or adding landscape complexity you'll have to maintain.
Built by a team that knows the SAP and LIMS landscape.
EKalib comes from SlashnSAP — a team that works inside SAP-centered environments every day. That's why EKalib is designed to complement SAP rather than fight it, to deploy quickly, and to stay light on customization. It's calibration handled by people who understand where it has to fit.
Common questions.
- Does EKalib replace SAP PM?
- No. It complements it. Equipment master data can stay in SAP; EKalib handles calibration planning, execution, and evidence, with optional reference back to SAP.
- Is this for lab instruments?
- EKalib is focused on non-laboratory equipment — the assets typically operated by Engineering and Maintenance.
- How is it delivered?
- EKalib is a cloud application, so there's minimal infrastructure to set up on your side.
- Is it built for regulated, GxP-critical processes?
- Yes — EKalib is designed around traceability, controlled execution, and a full audit trail to support inspection readiness. (Validation and compliance responsibilities remain site-specific; we'll walk through what applies to you.)
- Can it integrate with SAP or other systems?
- It's built to work standalone, with optional reference/reporting integration where you need it.
